The main reason that ARCC Center produces such great outcomes for the families that we serve is our employees; and this separates us from other providers. We only hire staff that are very outgoing and energetic, insuring that the consumer gets the most out of their time with our employees- you are not hiring a Respite Worker to just sit on your couch. The majority of our staff are currently going to school for areas relating to special needs- occupational therapy, special education, speech therapy, nursing, teaching, child development, etc. We have found that only hiring staff that are energetic, caring, and truly interested in dedicating their lives to serving those with special needs provides for the best possible care and mentoring of our consumers.
All of ARCC Center’s employees also meet the requirements of the California Licensing Department which includes fingerprinting and criminal background check through the DOJ (Department of Justice) and Child Abuse Central Index. All employees are also 1st Aid & CPR Certified.
All of ARCC Center’s staff are trained to work with children on the Autism Spectrum and with other special needs. We train all of our employees in PECS, using PECS schedules, some ABA/DT, and other behavioral techniques that are beneficial to consumers.
